Asterisk ... She stood on a stone, which laid among hardly green after long winter of a herb, and strange gesticulated. Rumble of passing transport deafened her shouts, and nothing could be analyzed in her actions. I have approached. She looked there, upwards, in that side, where showed by hands. "Was late!..", - not crying nearly and jumping up with disappointment on a place, she repeated, - "well, why I was late?!".. I tried to find out, what happened, and that she here, on a lawn, in downtown was late. But she looked in the night sky, which started above of roofs of high houses "It is usual in August happens", - she continued, not reacting to my bewildered glances and questions. She had expression of the face, which I saw for the first time. Childish naivety and open disappointment in her eyes spoke, that nothing terrible has not happened. " I only had time to think, that the desire is necessary for set a riddle ", - she continued, - " And it already has fallen for a houses and has left after himself only tail"... I do not know why, but I liked this case. I for the first time in life have regretted, that never saw of falling stars. I too have wanted to be romantic man. And I have presented, as we sit with her at the warm August night ashore of the river and we look, how above fires of the large city, which are mirrored fuzzy bar in a surface of water, fly by small bright fires and fade behind roofs of houses. We think of desires - not about ourselves, but friend about the friend, and desire these coincide...

...He reflects picteresque landscapes, scenes from local mode of life and people whom he appreciates in his pictures. The artist keeps to the realistic shape but he concerns colour as an all-sufficient value. His friends call him a reasonable impressionist. Unlike the majority of belarusian sculptors he prefers to use wood - a traditional material of belarusian folk art. He makes his sculptures according to folk traditions, folk stylistics. Arts critics call such a style "insit" or "naive art". He creates his sculptures of pagan gods and christian saints, memorial tablets and portrait plastics in such a style.
